Check My Progress!

Instead of you having to scroll down through all my posts to read my progress, I created a mini page that lets you read through my tricks and a paraphrased description on how I did. The tricks that have not been published on the main blog is not marked.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

String Trick Ladder (DIFFICULTY 1-10)

DONE -1. Sleeper (3 seconds): Very easy. Difficulty: 1 Published
(Learned 7/14/14)

DONE -2. Side Throw: Already learned Breakaway to do it, got a few bruises from the yoyo snapping back when it went around. Caution, but got it 5/5 times when practicing. Difficulty: 2 Published
(Learned 7/15/14)

DONE -3. Tower: Had to watch video a couple times to see the technicalities, but easy to do. 5/5 times when practicing. Difficulty: 2 Published
(Learned 7/15/14)

DONE -4. Rock the Baby (3 full rocks): Only had to watch video once, got it quickly. One of the easiest so far, besides Sleeper. Difficulty: 1 Published
(Learned 7/15/14)

DONE -5. Elevator: Easy, I just have to make sure to throw it straight so it "looks" right. 5/5 when practicing. Difficulty: 1 Published
(Learned 7/15/14)

DONE -6. Braintwister (1 Somersault): Got it fairly quickly. Difficulty: 2 Published
(Learned 7/15/14)

DONE -7. Trapeze: Learned Breakaway to do it. Difficulty: 4 Published

DONE -8. Split the Atom (3 somersaults): Needed to learn Split Bottom Mount first, then learned Split the Atom. Harder to get right when watching video. Difficulty: 6 Published

DONE -9. Double or Nothing: I was used to Trapeze, so I kept catching the yoyo on the string instead of letting it swing past. Frustrating for a time, because even after I got past the Trapeze problem I still had to do the other half of the trick, as well as catching it on the end (like a Trapeze. This was even more annoying because after I got used to missing the Trapeze, I had to get used to it again for the end of the trick!). Difficulty: 7 Published
(Learned 7/16/14)

DONE -10. Mach 5 (5 Rotations): Easiest Unresponsive trick yet. Since I already learned Split Bottom Mount, it was only a little variation and I got it easily. Difficulty: 3 Published
(Learned 7/17/14)

DONE -11. Cold Fusion: Harder than Double or Nothing, took some time to get the moves right. Got it done, but still working on making it neat and with less mistakes. Difficulty: 8 Published

DONE -12. Pop n’ Fresh (2 reps): Had to clean bearing first. Easy to learn pops, but harder to learn hand switching. Not as frustrating. I got 4 out of 5 times when practicing. Difficulty: 7 Published

DONE -13. Gerbil: I have learned and done it once, but I still need to keep practicing this one. The steps were easy, but I need to smoothen it so the yoyo does not spin out stop sleeping by the time I get to the end. Also, reminder: I need to keep strings tension free and in the right place. Difficulty: 7 Published

DONE -14. Plastic Whip: I thought it was going to be hard, but I got it fairly quickly. I was surprised that I would learn it so quickly, after having a little trouble with Gerbil. I can do it easily 4 out of 5 times. Difficulty: 5 Published

DONE -15. Eli Hop (3 Reps):  A little difficulty trying to catch the yoyo after launching into the air, but easier than the previous tricks. I can do it 4 times out of 5. Difficulty: 5 Published

DONE 16. Boingy Boingy (5 Reps): After cleaning the bearing, it was much easier to get. I can do it 5 times out of 5. Difficulty: 6 Published

DONE -17. Gyroscopic Flop: Really easy, not much to it. I can get it 5 out of 5, even on the first day. Difficulty: 3 Published

DONE -18. Kwijibo: Took more time to complete, because the "hop" between tricks were difficult and I was a little lazy after school with yoyo practice. Difficulty: 7 Published

NOT DONE-19. Hook: Still not perfected, and I am going to work on it in between other tricks that I am learning. . Difficulty: 7 Published

DONE -20. Suicide Catch (2 Reps): Thought it was easy at first when watching video, but was harder than I thought when learning it. After a day, I got it to work and it is now pretty easy to execute. I can do it 4 times out of 5. Difficulty: 5 Published

DONE -21. Iron Whip (2 Reps): Even though it looks to be pretty simple, I had to work on perfecting my wrist to complete the trick and the string had to be almost completely tension free for the trick to be easily performed and learned. Difficulty: 7 Published

DONE -22. Kamikaze: One of the most challenging tricks I have ever done. Difficulty: 8 Published

-23. Spirit Bomb:

-24. Throwhand Grind (2-Grinds):

DONE -25. Black Hop:
